I believe it is St-Mathias-sur-Richelieu and it is located on Rt. 133,
between the towns of Richelieu and of Beloeil if you are looking at a map.
It is in the county of Compton.

Does anyone know where St. Mathias is in Quebec? That may be where the
LAREAU-
POIRIER took place between 1810-1820.
