Subject: [Q-R] Greetings from the windy west

Hellloooooo!

It seems that we in the west coast of BC and WA have provoked the gods of
the four winds in such a way that we are given only brief interludes to
retrieve roof tiles and garbage cans!

Many of those without power after the first storm of last week are ok now.
However some are still waiting for power while others are preparing for
another windstorm around the Straits of Georgia and of Juan de Fuca. So say
some prayers that Christmas for them will be warm, that trees will stay off
the roofs and that a hot dinner will happen.

I had the pleasure of meeting Cecilia Combs last Tuesday in Silverdale, WA
where we had lunch and chatted up a storm. Cecilia lives in Gig Harbour, WA
and had been without power for quite a few days. At the time she mentioned
that she was about to switch servers but had to wait until power was
restored before doing so.

Wherever any of you travel to, whenever you sit down for your holiday feast,
whatever family you share your time with, I wish you the very biggest
smiles, the most comforting hugs and time to savour every minute of this
special day.

Cheers!

Doreen
