Hi,

Best Bill called me this morning and he is doing fine. He and Dr. Sue took
off the bandaging on his shoulder and on his wrist yesterday. He is doing a
small amount of therapy with the thumb and wrist. Didn't mention the
shoulder, though. Don't know if I addressed this in earlier e-mails, but he
also had a severe sinus infection which affected his stomach. It started
before the surgery and the OR nurse didn't see that it would be a problem on
the day of surgery. He was in quite a bit of discomfort on the day of
surgery, but the anesthesia helped him get thru it all...BUT..when he got
home and for next couple of days he was not a "happy camper", as they say.
He is now on antibiotics. He goes back to surgeon next Wednesday for
follow-up visit. Will let you know how that goes. Bill said to say thank
you to all who sent e-mails wishing him well. Joan
