I also went cemetery visiting today. This was an old pioneer cemetery
about 5 miles down our road that I didn't know existed. My husband had
found it a few days earlier. Not much to see except a granite marked
stating it is Bellevue Pioneer Cemetery # 16.
Names I could make out: Lambert, McDougal and Hill. Lots of sunken
areas and unreadable markers.
Took some pics for our genealogy newsletter.
A BIG bonus. Found two freshly sprouted sulfur shelves. These bright
yellow and orange fungi are primo eating when sauteed in a bit of
butter with a few onions. Great with scrambled eggs, and any dish that
calls for mushrooms. Because of their bright color they are far easier
to spot than morels, and just as tasty.
