I never heard of "Mustaw" - How about Muskoka instead?

I guess you've read all the Laramie obits in the above, and since Muskoka
isn't that far from where Alice Hinds Laramie was born, I'd be inclined to
look in the Muskoka direction.
Jeannette - my great grandmother, with first & second husbands, son and
daughter in law were also members of that Church and Alter Society at the
same time as the Laramie people. Small world... I haven't much info on my
lot either!

Has anyone ever heard of a town called "Mustaw" somewhere in Canada? I have
an ancestor, Michel Fevrier dit Laramie, who is driving me insane. He was
born sometime between 1836 & 1842 in "Mustaw". He has a brother, Albert,
and possibly another brother named Joseph. I am looking for his parents or
ANYTHING about him before 1870. He supposedly immigrated to the US in 1858
from Canada (some records say Upper Canada, some say Lower), but he doesn't
seem to exist before the US 1870 Census!
Thanks for ANY help!
Jeanette
