I would like to remind members on this list, that illegal(s) copy(ies) of
BMS2000 are used and distributed, across Canada and parts of United States.
Some members of this list even go as far as identifying their source as
BMS2000, kind of advertising their illegal copy.
BMS2000 belongs to BMS2000 Inc. and the 25 Québec Societies, members of the
group. These societies contributed through their volunteers in building this
data base. Please do not destroy the incentive for voluntary work in
genealogy societies.
This data base was agreed by all members to be used solely in the offices of
those 25 participating societies.
Further more, the software used to access the data and handle the research
is copy write material also.
Those copies and the software, property of the BMS2000 group, have been
stolen.
It is time to call a cat a cat and the stealing of a file and its research
program is called receiving and concealing which is still a crime, if I am
not mistaken.
Martin
