PRDH as you say is not perfect but before it got started it used the information
from "TANGUAY" "DROUIN" "TALBOT" etc. and any other Genealogy fact
available to them now they are charging $ for the information they have taken
for free from others. Tanguay is dead and cannot keep upgrading its books.
PRDH is not god but they updating the facts that belong to others at one time.
Roch
I've said it dozens of times, Joan. Spend your time, money, and energy using
PRDH instead of Tanguay, whose work is more than 100 years old. PRDH is not
perfect, but it is the best currently available.
Tanguay has so many errors! Free information is as valuable as its price, but
by contributing to PRDH you will be contributing to the future of French
Canadian genealogy.
I just did a search for someone who "believed" Tanguay. His guesses were not
accurate.
