Regarding the entry for Michel MAILLOUX at Fichier Origine:

In this entry, it says "Première mention au pays 1657" (First mention in the
country 1657). Michel married Jeanne Mercier in 1659 in France. Either he
came to Quebec by himself before the marriage, then went back to France and
married, or this information is wrong. Jeanne Mercier's entry says,
"Première mention au pays 1674", which makes more sense. Daughter
Barthelémie's entry has her mentioned in Quebec in 1657 -- before her
parents were married -- so this is probably a mistake.
