that old gal, galveston, is still going strong. my mama & grandparents lived thru it & the 1915 storm too!:) alice

Hi Bill - You didn't mention the year for this event, but if it was around
the time of the Galveston hurricane & flood in 1900, then Charles was
carried home by that storm.
We had a family friend who survived that hurricane in Galveston, but his
town didn't.
