MaizeGreetings & Salutations to all:

I have a dilemma with parents for >Marguerite DesROSIERS< married to Charles GERBEAU dit BELLEGARDE 31 JAN 1803 at Louiseville(a.k.a. Riv.-du-Loup).

At the sites that I went to they have her mother's(Madeleine) parents as FILIATREAU-ST-LOUIS or BILLY-ST-LOUIS or the FILIATREAU actually being a CHARBONNEAU dit ST-LOUIS. Joseph FILIATREAU-ST-LOUIS and mother as "Angélique-Judith" or "Judith" DELGUEL-[LaBRÈCHE]=RENEAU. Her mother is always found as a "LaBRÈCHE". The "dit name" of RENEAU comes from Tanguay under the CHARBONNEAU namesake. I tried LaBRECQUE but no success. Marguerite's parents were married 9 JAN 1769 Louiseville.

In Tanguay under Joseph FILIATREAU - Footnote in Tanguay - "dit ST-LOUIS; son véritable nom est CHARBONNEAU ".> Under CHARBONNEAU Joseph this would have been his 3rd marriage with having 6 children at the age of 60+.
But then Tanguay is taking a guess at Joseph's age.

Would anyone have the true parents of Marguerite's mother's parents. Her mother's husband Joseph DesROSIERS is also under scrutiny. His parents are supposedely J.-Bte. & Anne LeSAGE. His marriage is not in Tanguay, "Compliment..." or Drouin.

I've tried BOUCHER-DesROSIERS, JUTRAS-DesROSIERS....NADA!

Thank you for any reply..........................::))
