I need to find out who the parents of Mathilda Desautels-Lapointe are.
Mathilda was born 22 June 1858 in St. Marcel, Quebec and died 9 October 1931
in Bellingham, MA according to the "Dictionnaire des Bouvier" that I have.
She married Francois Bouvier ,s/o Charles (1829-1892) and Neree Dufault
(1827-1896), on 15 September 1879 at St. Etienne Bolton, Brome, Quebec.
Again, according to the "Dictionnaire" Mathilda's parents were Augustin
Desautels-Lapointe and Justine Godbout but I have not found any proof. In
fact I keep finding information that points away from the Augustin and
Justine parentage. Are there any sources for the 19th century like the PRDH?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
