In light of the agreement of Mr. Morisseau, priest pastor of Champlain, which
was manifested by a note on his part, having been baptised by a passing
stranger, was baptised "conditionally" with the ceremonies prescribed by our Holy
Church, Francois Lavigne, born the eighteenth of February of this year.

Having been erased, the mother's family is unreadable.

Marie, which one of these FRANCOIS was baptised and which year? Always a
good idea to give us as much information as possible, so that we can "take a
look" ourselves at exactly what was presented. It may also help someone else
break down a wall to know who the mother was if that can be determined.
