I was sent an IGI reference to this marriage, but with no parents listed
for Josephte Bourbeau. According to the reference, this marriage took
place at Bécancour 29 October 1827, with François Levasseur's parents
listed as Joseph François Xavier and Josephte Provencher (yet another
Provencher!).

There is no reference on PRDH to a marriage between a Levasseur man and
Provencher woman, so perhaps that marriage took place after 1799.

I have Levasseur in my own file, so perhaps this is where I will connect
with my partner.
