(Sir Thomas Wyatt 1503-1542)
"British poet and diplomat. Without the help of an unnamed cat who helped
save the life of Wyatts father, Sir Henry Wyatt, it is doubtful whether the
famous Renaissance poet and friend of Anne Boleyn would have been born. Sir
Henry had been imprisoned in the Tower of London by Richard III, tortured and
denied all food. However, this heroic cat somehow managed to bring Wyatt a
number of pigeons to eat in his cell which allowed him to survive long enough for
Henry VII to accede to the throne, after which he was released. His son
Thomas was conceived after he left the tower."
