Try to confirm if this information is correct.

Marin BOUCHER and Julienne BARIL had a daughter Marie who married Jacques
GAUTHIER abt 1629.

Thank you

======================================
According to Jetté (126, 1) Marin BOUCHER and Julienne BARIL had a daughter
Marie who born 8 Jun 1625 at St-Langis lès Mortagne, in Perche, France, and
who died in France. She celebrated her fourth birthday in 1629.

Again, according to Jetté (475,2) Pierre GAUTHIER dit Sanguingoira, son of
Jaques Gauthier and Marie Boucher, a native of Echillais, diocese of Saintes,
Saintonge, born about 1629 (52 years old in the Lachine census of 1681),
married Charlotte ROUSSEL, daughter of Thomas ROUSSEL and Barbe POISSON, of
Notre-Dame-la-Ronde, city and diocese of Evreux, in Normandy, on 12 Dec 1668 at
Montréal.

Nothing further is known about the parents of Pierre Gauthier except their
names, and the fact that they never came to Québec. But, considering the
dates and the fact that Pierre GAUTHIER's origins are in a very different part of
France than Marin Boucher and Julienne BARIL'S, it is not likely that there
is any relationship between these families.

That's a long answer to a short question, Michael, but a simple "No, she's
not" is not worth as much as an explanation of the facts for the benefit of
other inquirers as well as yourself.
