Hi,
Could someone please point me in the right direction? I am trying to
locate records, either birth or census. This is what I have.

My great great grandfather Joseph Johnson born abt/1857 in Coteau
Landing,Quebec
his father Edward Johnson born abt/1831 married Adelaide Dishaw born about
1834 both Canada.
That is all I know.Where can I go for birth records or census for Coteau
Landing? There were approx. 9 children total and they all emigrated over to
Clayton, NY and around that area. But I would like to be able to document back.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
