Hi Dan

Blanche IS a French name. That was my mother's
name: Marie-Blanche CARON. It means White in
English (some say it was used for Immaculate). I
have 174 persons by the name of Blanche or
Marie-Blanche in my database. It is not a very
common name anymore though.
