1927 - 2004
AGAWAM, MA - Jeannine H. (Jolin) Quintin, 76, of 350 Meadow Street, entered
into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 18, 2004 in Baystate Medical Center.
Born in St. Jean, Province of Quebec, Canada, she came to this country in 1947
and lived in Springfield most of her life before moving to Agawam in 2001. She
was a retired sales clerk for the former Liberty Bakery for over twenty
years. Jeannine was a lifelong member of the Woman's Auxiliary of the Adriatic
Club, a communicant of the former St. Thomas Aquinas Church and a member of their
Les dames de St. Anne Society. Her husband, Gaston D. Quintin died in 1995.
She leaves a son, Gary R. Quintin of Agawam, two daughters, Susan A. McCabe of
Feeding Hills, Lynn M. Quintin of Agawam, a brother, Paul Jolin of Canada, and
six and a half grandchildren. The funeral will be Saturday, February 21, 2004
at 11:30 a.m. from the Agawam Funeral Home, 184 Main St., with a Mass in St.
John the Evangelist Church at 12 noon. Burial will follow in St. Michael's
Cemetery. Calling hours are Saturday from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers,
donations may be made to the American Lung Association, 393 Maple Street,
Springfield, MA 01105.
