I too have had this happen with the "delete" and report spam" buttons, and
didn't notice it until I didn't get any mail from the List for a few days. Then
had to go back into my main AOL account and delete the List from being
blocked. I agree that AOL should somehow fix this.

I think the problem comes from the fact that on an AOL mail window, the
'delete' button is right next to 'report spam' button. I know I have
accidentally hit the 'report spam' when trying to delete blocks of
messages in my mailbox. I have written AOL and suggested they redesign
the window. It might help if you caution AOL members on your list to be
careful when deleting messages
