RITA M. DECELLES - Woonsocket

RITA M. DECELLES, 86, of Ballou Street, a retired licensed practical nurse,
died Friday at Miriam Hospital, Providence.
She was the wife of the late Gerald Decelles. A lifelong Woonsocket
resident, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Eva (Dupuis) Ferrier.
Mrs. Decelles had been an LPN at Woonsocket Hospital for 40 years before
retiring in 1983.
She was a former president of the Woonsocket Hospital Quarter Club.
She was a communicant of Holy Family Church.
She leaves a son, Gerald A. Remillard, and two daughters, Pauline L. Durand
and Clair H. Plant, all of Woonsocket; three stepsons, Gerald and Arthur
Decelles, both in Connecticut, and Robert Decelles in Vermont; a brother,
Albert R. Ferrier of Blackstone, Mass.; and three grandchildren and three
great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Raymond and Cecile
Ferrier, and Pauline Mailhot.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 8 a.m. from Menard Funeral Home, 127
Carrington Ave., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 in Holy Family Church,
South Main Street. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery, Blackstone.
