Lloyd Provost
New Jersey - Mr. Lloyd Provost, 52, of the Military Turnpike, Ellenburg
Depot, died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2003, as the result of an automobile accident
in New Brunswick, N.J.
He was born in Plattsburgh on July 21, 1951, son of the late Raymond and
Valeria (McKee) Provost.
Lloyd was an avid hunter, skidoer and biker. He worked as truck driver for
the Fallan Trucking Company for two years and an owner operator for several
years.
Lloyd was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps serving 1968 to 1971 in
Vietnam.
He is survived by his companion, Mary McKee; one son and a daughter-in-law,
Lloyd "Buddy" and Sherri Provost Jr. of Peru; two daughters and one
son-in-law, Angela and Daniel Disbrow of Schuyler Falls and Erin Provost of
Peru and attending the University of Maine; three brothers and one
sister-in-law, Raymond Provost and his companion Mae Rascoe of Saranac,
William and Carole Provost of Morrisonville and Matthew Provost and his
companion Cindy Howerton of Schuyler Falls; one sister and a brother-in-law,
Cynthia and Claude Lavarnway of West Chazy; four grandchildren, Karlea
Provost, Ashlea Provost, Shane Disbrow and Derrick Disbrow; several nieces;
and a nephew.
Calling hours will be Saturday, Oct. 11, 2003, from 10 to 12 noon from the
Brown Funeral Home in Altona. A graveside service will follow in the Holy
Angels Cemetery in Altona.
Donations in his memory may be made to the Altona Fire Department or the
University of Maine Athletic Department.
