LORIANE M. PELOQUIN, 96, of Oakland Grove Nursing Home, formerly of Urrico
Avenue, North Smithfield, a retired cake decorator, died Thursday at the
home.
Born in Woonsocket on Nov. 21, 1906, a daughter of the late Daniel and
Adelina (Tetreault) Peloquin, she had lived in North Smithfield for 43
years, having previously lived in Woonsocket for many years.
She had been a cake decorator for the former Leo's Bakery for many years
before retiring in 1971.
She was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church.
She leaves her niece and caregiver, Shirley A. Lefebvre of Cumberland; and
four newphews, Marcel R. Lefebvre of Cumberland, Armand L. Lefebvre of North
Smithfield, Charles Peloquin of Orlando, Fla., and Andre Peloquin of Miami.
She was the sister of the late George, Anatole, Talbert and Jeannette
Peloquin, Odette Bouchard and Loretta Lefebvre.
A memorial Mass in celebration of her life will be held in Our Lady Queen of
Martyrs Church, Park Avenue, at a later date. Burial will be in St. John
Cemetery, Slatersville.
