Not as silly as you make it out to be! St-Jean is St. John, St-Pierre is
St. Peter....... Get the picture! I'm not asking for anything else other
than to find out if Athanase has an English equivalent!. I don't believe I
inferred a geographic place name.
Would you translate La Rochelle to the port of "The Little Rocks"? <G> That
would be like the French referring to La Rochelle, Arkansas.
