Thanks to Suzanne Sommerville, Sue Schon, Del. C, and , for
replies Re Marin Boucher dual appearance in the 1666 Rec. Here is a somewhat
different double appearance, (plus one glaring omission).
Below are 3 families from Beaupre:

The fille in family #1, line 4 is the sa femme in family #2, line 2.
The fille in family #1, line 5 is the sa femme in family #3, line 2.
Look that up in your PRDH!
PRDH has Marie-Madeleine Racine married to Noel Simard dit Lombrette, who
would be about 29 in 1666. So family #3 is Pierre Simard dit Lombrette, who
came to New France in 1657 after 2 wives died. He came with son Noel, who
married Marie-Madeleine Racine, 22 Nov 1661 at Château-Richer.
Where is Noel Simard dit Lombrette? At the time I was focused on the 1666
census I probably guessed he was a Carignan-Salières Regiment soldier,
(because of the dit name), but I just now looked in
http://www.fillesduroi.org/Regiment/regiment.html
and did not find him.
More questions:
I know a fils is a fils regardless of marital status but I'm not sure if
same applies to a fille?
How did Pierre and Noel Simard come by the dit Lombrette?
Would the census taker be paid by head count?
Jack Langlois offered lookup on 1667 census. I would appeciate lookup on my
ancestors, Pierre and Noel Simard dit Lombrette, Marie-Madeleine Racine,
Estienne Racine & Margueritte Martin.
Thank in advance for any answers or suggestions.
