Andy,
I saw this post and remembered finding graves here in Indian
Orchard(Springfield), MA. at St. Aloysius Cemetery for DUPLESSIS.
I'm not related, only have the burial information due to trying to locate
records for someone else buried next to this lot.
Most of the earlier burial records for this cemetery were burned in a fire at
St. Aloysius Church, Indian Orchard, MA, so the office would only have exact
burial dates and names if there are later burials in these old lots, or if a
family member holds the deed.
So you will see just a year for burial recorded or last name.
From the actual lot plan.
Section: A, Lot# 340
Dimensions: 10' X 20'
Grave # Burial date Name Age(if listed)
1. 1915 Viola Grise 27
2. 1924 Victor DUPLESSIS 46
3. April 24, 1945 Joseph DUPLESSIS 70
4. Vacant
5. Feb. 20, 1929 Mme. Ed DUPLESSIS (vault) 83
6. Feb. 26, 1961 Laura D. DUPLESSIS 81
7. 1888 Eva DUPLESSIS 6
8. 1885 Edouard DUPLESSIS 40
8. April 21, 1943 Edouard DUPLESSIS Jr. 77
Thought this may be useful in your search.
