I just wanted to pass alon a website I ran across on Sunday. It is a website for the transcription of the 1901 Canada census to create indexes. I have just finished transcribing a few pages myself. The webmaster of this site apparently wants this to be a free index for everyone according to what I read. There are apparently other parts of the website that are paysites for New Brunswick databases but the 1901 census index is free. And it seems that once you transcribe a page then it goes to a central index where you can look for your surnames and then they link you to the Canadian archives site. Here is the address:
