Hi,

I got an answer from Best Bill for the marriage of Pierre Gamache and
Marie-Modeste Thibault:

Pierre Gamache married Marie Modeste Thibeault Jan 14, 1806 at L'Islet
Pierre parents were Joachim Gamache and Marie Genevieve Chouinard
Marie parents were Etienne Thibeault and Marie Brigitte Gagne

I searched PRDH to find the marriage of Pierre's parents Joachim
GAMACHE and Marie-Genevieve CHOUINARD. I find briths for many of
their children but no marriage for them. I clicked on the marriage
of their son Joachim, saw the act and the name of his parents like
expected, Joachim Gamache and M. Genevieve Chouinard, and then went
to display the Union in order to reach the parents' marriage.
Surprise! They give another set of parents: Joachim GAMACHE and
Scholastique THIBAULT. How can that be? How can Marie-Genevieve
CHOUINARD become Scholastique THIBAULT. It seems there is an error
there. Is there anyone else who has these people in his database and
who could help solve this mistery?
