All I can give you from the Repertoire Notre-Dame Ottawa is the mar of
Sophie Menard d/o Joseph & Catherine Roi, on Jun 30, 1846 to Joseph Trudel
s/o Thomas & Marie Turcot.
If that's the right child born in 1833 she was very young when she married.

Good Morning all
I am posting this message in the hopes that somewhere, someone may have a
very elusive Joseph MENARD/MAYNARD hiding in their files somewhere.
He is my 3x gr.grandfather. I have been desparately trying to find his
marriage. He was born c.1799 in Quebec or Ontario. I have one Joseph
MENARD born 1799 in OKA (PRDH) but unable to determine if he is the correct
one.
I do know that he married Catherine (Sophie) ROY somewhere in Quebec or
Ontario, and had a daughter Catherine baptized in Bytown/Ottawa in 1833. He
and his family ended up in Minnesota 1850/51. His headstone states he died
in MN. 1865-11-19 at age 66 years, 6 months.
I have much information on him in MN. but once I get back to Ottawa area, I
lose him.
His children are as follows: Catherine, John B., Rachel, Adaline, Sophia and
Felix P. I have several marriages for Joseph Menard/Catherine Roy, but none
of them appear to be the correct Marriage or ages.
I am hoping someone who is researching Menard lines may have come across a
Joseph with these children.
I do not know where else to look without ordering in every film for every
parish.
