Hi Ken & Norm;
I missed the original query about this thread and am wondering if I can help. I
have the complete descendancy for Toussaint to 1799 and beyond and no longer use
either Tanguay or Leboeuf as there is/was a great muddle between all the Hunualt dit
Deschamps and Lefebvre marriages. It took me two years to straightened them all
If you could let me know what the original query was about, I'll try to answer it.
Good luck & happy hunting,
Fran (Deschamps) LaChance

http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~fjl1935/ -over 23,000 names online and over
names in my database. Descendants of Toussaint Hunault dit Deschamps & Marie
plus our children's ancestry. What you can't see you can get from me.

> Hello Ken .... Yes, there is confusion. I get several answers:
> Pierre HENAULT (Antoine & Catherine LEFEBVRE),
> m. 12 Oct. 1740, Repentigny (per its Marriage Repertoire)
> Francoise PAYET (Francois & Francoise BEAUDOIN)
> Tanguay lists this as 2nd m. 1740, place not given.
> Pierre m. 1st M.Elis. ST.AUBIN, 14 Apr. 1738, Montreal.
> The Mar. Rep. of Notre Dame, Montreal says his parents are Pierre &
> Marguerite LEFEBVRE. This agrees with Leboeuf.
> I think this is right & Reperntigny m. wrong, because, per Tanguay
> Pierre s/o Ant. & Cath. LEFEBVRE m. Agathe ARRIVEE. Marie-Francoise d/o Ant.
> & Cath. LEFEBVRE m. 2nd Francois PAYET.
> A coincidence of names?
> Pierre s/o Pierre & Marg. LEFEBVRE m. 1st Elis. ST.AUBIN & 2nd Francoise
> PAYET & 3rd Agathe ARRIVEE (vf of other Pierre?)
> Pierre & Antoine were brothers who married sisters, Cath. & Marg.
> I think Repentigny was wrong with parents names.
> Any questions let me know.
