Beatrice F. LaFond

NASHUA - Beatrice F. (St. Onge) LaFond, 80, of Nashua, formerly of Lowell,
died Monday, Nov. 11, at the Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua
after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Roland A. LaFond, who died in
May 2001.
She was born in Nashua on May 12, 1922, a daughter of the late George and
Albertine (Bernier) St. Onge.
Prior to her retirement, Mrs. LaFond was a seamstress at the Pleasant Dress
Shop in Lowell for several years. She enjoyed sewing and playing cards.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Denise M. Andrews and her
husband Ralph, of North Chelmsford; two sons, Ronald G. LaFond of Dracut and
David J. LaFond and his fiancee, Dianne Matte, of Hudson, N.H.; a sister,
Camille Payette of Nashua; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren;
also many nieces, nephews and cousins and dear friends.
She was also the sister of the late Cecile Leblanc, Rachel Brunelle and
Marguerite St. Onge.
