Gordon B. Brown

CHELSEA, Vt. - Gordon B. Brown, 60, of Chelsea, a longtime Nashua resident
who married in Lowell, died Saturday, Nov. 2, at Gifford Medical Center in
Randolph, Vt. He was the husband of Donna (Silva) Brown.
He was born in Cranston, R.I., on Sept. 28, 1942, a son of Hazel Dudoviur of
Maine and foster son of the late Andrew Walcott and Marjorie Vinal. He was
educated in Rhode Island schools.
He was married in Lowell in 1969, and lived in Nashua for many years.
Mr. Brown worked as a maintenance mechanic at W.R. Grace Co. in Nashua for
29 years, retiring in 1999. He moved to Chelsea after he retired.
He was a member of the National Club in Nashua, and enjoyed watching movies
and restoring old cars.
Besides his wife and mother, survivors include two sons, Donald Joseph Brown
of Nashua and Gordon Bruce Brown Jr. of Maine; two daughters, Sherry Owen
and Darlene Davis, both of Maine; a half-brother, Terry D. Dudoviur of Old
Orchard Beach, Maine; six grandchildren and a great-grandson.
