I usually don't have too much trouble with Jette but I can't fathom this one:
MERCIER, Louis n 4 jours b. 1661 .......
Did it take him four days to be born (!) ... was he born four days before he
was baptised in 1661 ??? (The PRDH just shows that he was born in 1661 but
there isn't any document for his birth or baptism.)
Any clues as to when he was born? No big deal but ... a perplexing question
of semantics.
