Hi folks, as u may have noticed, I'm back...<g>

From time to time, I get private messages telling me folks are receiving
private emails from list members that detract from their enjoyment of this
list...
These may be sarcastic, or belittling, or somewhat abusive, the usual
result is that the affected lister does not post questions or answers to the
list anymore...In MHO, this violates rule #2,
(essentially, Play Nice). When someone posts rule#2 violations to the list,
it's easy, I warn um, and/or send um to the showers, It's a little harder
know what to do about private posts, but I'm considering acting on one or
two individuals right now...I'd love to not have to do that....-(

Plainly speaking, my vision for this list is that it be a friendly place,
where ALL may exchange information relating to their lives, and the lives
of their ancestors, we will NECESSARILY repeat some of the same information
over and over as new folks join the list, the archives and the web page will
help a little, but the beginner may not find them in time...

There are about 550 list members, I'm willing to loose a few if I continue
to get complaints...
