Hi Roger,

Jean Baptiste Poiriau dit Bellefeuille, s/o Ignace & Marguerite Rocquebrune,
married Marguerite Périllard, d/o Michel & Marguerite Plouf, at St-Benoit on
5 Mar 1832.

My direct ancestor was Marguerite's brother Joseph (Périllard dit
Bourguignon) and I've just recently found the marriage of Jean Bellefeuille
and Célina Delorme (somehow missed your post asking about it; but BB didn't
so all is well). In some of the repertoires, Jean's mother Marguerite's
surname is listed as "Perier" or just "P..." because it must have been
difficult to decipher from the original manuscript. However, in other
repertoires (including the Outaouais series) it is listed as "Périard" which
of course is a variant of the standard name Périllard. I ran into similar
problems with my ancestor Joseph's records. In fact, Joseph is also listed
as "Perier" in the St-André-Est marriage repertoire (in the original
manuscript he was actually recorded as "Perier dit Bourguignon").

I have Marguerite's baptism and her ancestry back four generations and in
some cases five. I also have a few children of Jean Bellefeuille and Célina
Delorme. You can take a look at my web site (www.gerryb.ca), although it
has not yet been updated with some of the newer Bellefeuille info I've
