Lucille Loosli, 87
Native of Canada; owned motel in Cooperstown, N.Y.
CENTERVILLE - Lucille (Charbonneau) Loosli, 87, a Cape resident since 1993,
died Tuesday at the Bourne Manor Extended Care Facility after a long illness.
She was the wife of the late Jules Loosli.
Born in Canada, Mrs. Loosli grew up in LaSallette, Canada, and Canton, N.Y.
She lived in Ilion, N.Y., Elmira, N.Y., and Cooperstown, N.Y., before moving
to Lakewood, N.J., and then to Centerville in 1993.
Mrs. Loosli was the owner and operator of Loosli's Otsego Lake Motel in
Cooperstown, N.Y., and a successful businesswoman.
While living in Cooperstown, N.Y., she was a member of the Order of the
Eastern Star.
Surviving are a daughter, Lesli Loosli of Centerville; two grandchildren;
and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow at the Unitarian Church
of Barnstable, Route 6A, Barnstable.
Visiting hours are 6 to 8 tonight in the Hallett Funeral Home, 273 Station
Ave., South Yarmouth.
Burial will be held at 2 p.m. June 2 in Armory Hill Cemetery, Ilion, N.Y.
Memorial donations may be made to her great-grandchildren's fund, c/o Leslie
