According to the CD rom for Deux Montagnes the parents were.
Jean Baptiste Demers s/o Jean-Eustache & Elisabeth Leonard and he married
Marie Apolline Maheu d/o Louis & Angelique Perrier 01-19-1841 at
St-Benoit.

The same source says Jean Baptiste was the son of Eustache Demers
