Couldn't get to sleep last night, for various and sundry reasons. Suddenly,
this ditty popped into my head almost complete.
For those of you who know the song "Camp Granada", it is written to that
tune. For those of you who don't, I apologize. But you really don't want me
to sing it to you, believe me!
HELLO RUDOLF, HELLO MOSES
NICE TO MEET YOU; YOU TOO, JOSEPH
WE HAVE WONDERED WHERE YOU'RE HIDING
SEARCHED EVERY PROVINCE, CITY, TOWN AND RIDING.
WE FOUND MITTCHEL; SHOULD BE MICHEL
PERSON WRITING, THOUGHT IT SWELL.
HOW COULD HE KNOW THE FUTURE HELD,
SCRUTINY OF THE WAY HE SPELLED?
UNCLE FRED, RENEE AND BILL,
WE STILL HAVE BLANKS TO FILL.
THOUGH WE KNOW WHERE SOME DID WALK.
WOULD BE NICE IF THEY WOULD SIMPLY TALK.
OH DEAR LISTERS ONE AND ALL,
WE HAVE TUMBLED MANY WALLS.
THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR SHARING,
FOR YOUR LOOKUPS, TALES, AND CARING.
YOUR SENSE OF HUMOR CANNOT BE BESTED
AND YOUR PATIENCE HAS BEEN TESTED.
BUT TO KNOW YOU IS REWARDING
SO A "GENIE" PLAQUE, I HEREBY AM AWARDING.
