THIS VIRUS ATTACHED TO MY ADDRESS BOOK JUST BECAUSE I WAS IN SOMEONE'S
ADDRESS BOOK. I wouldn't even have known I had gotten it, so I am glad they
notified me. I hadn't had any recent
e-mails from them nor did I download anything.

I received an e-mail from an acquaintance alerting me to a virus they found
on their hard drive. Because this virus travels by e-mail, we found it on
our hard drive. You might want to check yours and see if you have it. This
is a "sleeping virus" and they say it activates at a later date. It deletes
files and directories on the hard drive and spreads itself through mail.
Hope you don't have it, but a couple friends have already found it. Please
check your computer by using the directions which they forwarded to me and
it
will be remedied.

Here is what to do:

Click---START, then FIND, then FILES OR FOLDERS. Now type in SULFNBK. Now
Look In "c" (I actually found it in My Computer listing). This is an EXE
folder. If your computer has the virus, the program will appear in the
search result area near the bottom of the square. It will say 1 file found.
DO NOT OPEN. Go to EDIT--SELECT ALL at the top of that box, then hit your
Delete button on your keyboard. YES, you want to delete it. Go to your
Recycle Bin, find the little bugger and Delete it.
I went through the process again and did not find it, so it was easily
remedied by doing these steps, thank goodness. IF YOU FOUND THE VIRUS, YOU
NOW NEED TO EMAIL EVERYONE IN YOUR ADDRESS BOOK.
