Yes the Napanee Beaver is still being published. Napanee is in Lennox &
Adding County, Ontario. Sorry I don't know the phone number for the office.

I think your second question is about "Belleville". If it is the answer is
both, Belleville is a city in Hastings County, and it also had a cemetery
which I believe is simply Belleville Cemetery.

It's about 40 or some miles from Belleville east to Napanee.

At the Rootsweb site for Montreal Strays I found an extraction from the
Obituary of my g-grandmother. Here's what it said:

"Mrs. John F. COLE (nee Louise M COTTRELL) d. June 21, 1898 in Montreal,
buried in Belleville."

*She is known also as "Louie" & "Louisa" (her birth name). And the last
name is also spelled COTTERILL.*

The source given is "Index of Births, Marriages & Deaths from the Napanee
Beaver 1897-1899 transcribed & indexed by Linda Corupe."

The person posting the information was Patty Brown.

I would like to get a copy of the full obituary but have the handicap of
being hundreds of miles away <g>. Would anyone know anything about this
newspaper? If it is still being published? If there are archive copies on
microfilm or where they might be available?

Is Belleview a cemetery or a town?

I have tried to email Patty Brown but the emails all bounce.
