I, too, just discovered an 'uncanny resemblance' in the family. Last year I
became acquainted through the internet genealogy with a 'cousin' who was
born and raised as I was in Montreal. (Her great grandmother is my
grandfather's sister.) She is now living in Spain as are two of her
children. While visiting my son in England recently, I decided to go to
Madrid to meet her and her daughters. When I was showing them photos of my
children and grandsons, they did a doubletake on my 3 yr old grandson, who
looks just like her 3 yr old grandson. When I met the little fellow, I
could not believe my eyes. They could be twins!! Yes, it's incredible.

I recently was sent copies of old photographs of my ancestors. I pulled
one
of the pictures out and thought, "Holy cow! That's PHIL!" It's a picture
of
my grandfather's brother and my youngest brother Philip looks EXACTLY like
him. It's incredible.
