Hello, Roch:

I subscribe to the Quebec rootsweb mailing list and saw you respond to a
lister asking for a lookup on your Irish CD, which you provided. I don't
know if you do this routinely or were just kind enough to respond to that
person, so I didn't want to put you on the spot and post again on the mailing
list (and potentially perpetuate people writing to you asking for lookups).
I will post on the mailing list if you like, but, anyway, if you wouldn't
mind doing a lookup, would you please check for a

George Husband, born about 1842 in Ireland, arrived in America between
then and 1860 (he first shows in the 1860 census for Sheldon, VT, near
the Quebec border).

I don't know if the CD provides information by searches on any name, or just
the names of "heads" of the parties, but if it is only the heads of parties,
you may find George with a

William White, born about 1819 and his wife, Sarah (Husband),
born about 1823

Since Sarah's maiden name was husband and she lived in Sheldon with William
White from the 1860s on, it seems a good bet she was related to George.
George apparently didn't come over with his parents (a John and Anne
Husband), so I'm guessing he may have come with the Whites. George may have
had brothers named Thomas and William, too, so you may see those names (if
you find anything at all, lol!).

Thanks for your time and any assistance,

Richard Husband
