I don't know how you did this, a miracle for sure. I must tell you
I am overwhelmed and excited over this information. Please send me your
address so I may send a little card from Washington state.
Can you tell me anything more about this information? Such as what
records you found these in. Where would you suggest I might find further
information such as his birth, his parents marriage, their parents. I can
go to the LDS library in town to order films if they would be
suggested. Sorry for being so
long winded, but I am so excited and happy. I don't even know where these
places are in Canada yet.
You also then handed me my great grandmothers family on a silver
platter, with an explantion of something that has had me confused for 11 years.

You have shown that my great grandfather had a previous wife. I
wonder if she had children. In a baptism record from Silver Islet, it
shows Louis P. Belanger and M. Henriette Michaud, (his wifes cousin) having
a son in
1870 something. I wondered why it would say his wifes cousin, when she was
his wife. Mystery solved, all thanks to you! Someplace she is related to
his first wife Florentine.
I am open to any more advise, as to where to seek and what.
Many many thanks to you,
Karla Mattila
PS Don't forget to send me your snail mail, please. :O)
