I am adding some info to help in the search of information below...Emily

only information is 1850 census of Clinton County town of CHAZY New York
Emily Laporte...Baxter Household wife of Alman Baxter married abt
1845-46 estimated age of Emily 20 years old born abt. 1825 ...may have
lived in the area of CHAZY also
MONTYs land grant shores of Lake Champlain 1800s my GGM Edna Monty was
brought up on the homestead by Mary Monty her Grandmother...brought her
up ....mid 1840s
I have many names and lineage in the MONTY line Harly any info in the
Baxter Line...
