I am a descendent of Gideon and Ruth BRAYTON who moved as Loyalists from the
US to this area to avoid persecution. I've found it very difficult to find
any records. Hopefully someone reading this can assist.

Also am looking for my 2nd great grandfather Richard Gibson BROWN. Since
there are many GIBSON and BROWN families in the 19th century records and
since the BROWN and BRAYTON families appear to have a strong connection, I
am thinking that perhaps Richard was born here as well. Any thoughts? He was
born around 1798.
