Ken,
Thanks for your contribution to my query on the Manningville Cemetery.
However, the Christ Church Anglican Cemetery is almost directly north of
the Franklin Anglican Church & on the opposite side of Route 202. Church
is on the south side of Route 202 & cemetery is perhaps 500 feet way down a
slope on the north side of Route 202. My paternal grandparents are buried
in this Bridgetown Cemetery along with other relatives, both maternal &
paternal. The original brick church in Manningville burned and its
replacement was built at Bridgetown around 1900. Bridgetown is on the
Outarde River & is about 2 miles east of Manningville & 2 miles west of
Franklin Centre. I am suspicious that the Manningville Cemetery is part of
the Stevenson farm (Floyd, William, Fred). My knowledge of Manningville is
due to the Chateauguay Valley Historical Society's annual on Franklin
Township. I have a feeling that Mr. Rogers might have missed this cemetery
or transcription of it was extremely difficult. Still if it exists as
several people have stated, I would like to see it listed. Thanks. Calvin
