Subject: [Q-R] www.QuakerMeetings.com has new security certificates and newdata

Friends,

The Computing Services department at Earlham College has now loaded
new security certificates for QuakerMeetings.com and QuakerMeetings.org, and
I no longer receive the SPAM! and other security messages that have plagued
both sites for eight months. Please feel free to notify me of any errors
that become obvious now that you can get on to the site quickly.

I have recently updated several modern-era Virginia and North
Carolina meeting entries based on some research at the Friends Historical
Library at Swarthmore and the Quaker Collection at Haverford, and I have
entered more local-meeting histories in the appropriate field. If your
research turns up other local-meeting histories or typescripts of vital
records, I would like to hear of them. Subject to space limitations, I wish
to point researchers toward any published works that focus on a local
meeting.
