Sarah Ann Swangel b. 1833 married 1854 in Greene Co. Ohio to James C.
Johnson b 1833. Sarah & James moved to Poweshiek Co. Iowa mid 1850's. Must
have been shortly after their marriage, most of their children with
exception of Irvin were all born in Iowa. Irvin born in KS.
James C. Johnson is son of John D. Johnson b 1800 Greene Co. Ohio who m.
Martha Blaine/Blain b 1808. John D. Johnson & Martha were m. 1822, Xenia
Ohio.
These two female lineages have been difficult to follow. Sarah's parents
are Johan Swangel/Swangle & Elizabeth Stroup. No other details on Sarah's
line.
I can't seem to locate "anything" on the Blaine/Blain lineage.
This list has been so wonderful assisting me with Moorman & Johnson
information. I thank you so much. Hopefully something can be found abt
these female lines......they have not been easy to research.
