   I'm curious to know more about who Anna (BRITTAIN) UNTANK HOBBS' parents
are, as well as her HOBBS connection, since I'm also related to this  branch of the family.......

Additional proof can be found in the records of Spiceland MM, whose birth
and death records record Rebecca's parentage.  See also Andrew W. Young's
History of Wayne County, Indiana (1872), which included a sketch of the
family of William and Charity (Williams) Hiatt.

I live just one house away from the house in Spiceland where Anna
(Brittain) Unthank Hobbs, William B. Unthank's mother, lived.
