I have seen several postings from Woodrow information seekers-I hope this helps some of you

I am a new reader of Quaker-Roots @roots web.com and started reading messages posted re Woodrow.They are part of my ancestry.
In several of your posts you asked for sites to help in your research.
LDS(Latter Day Saints) has a great FREE site at family search.org
You can get a free 14 day trial to ancestry .com
Have you tried just using your search and putting in the name and place? You can often get a number of sites from which you might get a clue
My Woodrows were Quakers in Burlington,NJ and then into Chester County,PA / you can get some good info from putting into the search Chester County PA Genealogy
Having said all that,I do think some of my info may help you get some clues although my Info on the Woodrows stops in 1750-1785 when a daughter Lydia(my ancestor married a Filson)
The first in America that I have in in 1673(But I have his parents,etc back to Scotland as far back as 1519-1548),Here goes:

Simeon Woodrow: A weaver by trade but is shown in PA records as a farmer)
born 1673 in Glasgow,Scotland,emigrated to Mansfield,Burlington,NJ before 1709) married Catherine Woods in Burlington Quaker Meeting abt 1703.He died in 1750 in East Fallowfield ,Chester County,PA. He was a member of the Concord Quaker Meeting after moving to PA.
He and Catherine had 7 children:

ISAAC - ( my line) born 1707 married Mary Cheevers 9/16/1726 in Concord PA.,died 1758 in West Fallowfield,Chester County,PA
Simeon Jr- born 1706 or 1709 in NJ married Jane Wells(wife # 1),.had 8 children,died May 1752 in East Nottingham,Chester County,Pa
Andrew- born about 1712 ,married Anne ?,died in Chester County before 1755
Henry- born about 1710, married Eleanore in 1759,had at least 1 son named Simeon (born 1776 and died 1839 in MD) died 1778 or 1779 in Oxford,Chester County,PA
Joseph-born about 1704, died before 1760
Anna Maria born about 1730,married John Huss
John- born about 1705,died 1/2/1726 in Thornbury,Chester County,PA

ISAAC WOODROW and MARY CHEEVERS had 10 children
LYDIA WOODROW born 1744,married JOHN FILSON (husband # 2) in Lancaster County 11/18/1772 (that part of Lancaster County later became Chester County)
Simeon-born 1728,married Lydia Pyle 6/16/1757,died in Warren,VA
Joseph
Caleb
Joshua
John (shown in East Nantmeal,Chester County PA in 1774)
Rachel
Levi -born 10/17/1755,married Phebe Walter in 1779 in Concord Quaker Meeting
Mary
Isaac- married Sarah Pyle Ford,died 3/31/1841 in Kennet Square Chester County,PA.


I have a copy of the will for Isaac Woodrow 6/2/1758

I am still searching for the graves of the Chester County Woodrows and since I live in Chester County,Pa,I hope to find them soon
