Hello Brenda
I saw your email and it had some names that looked familiar but not sure and I have never looked for them in the Quakers. I have several John Tarpley's from VA to TN. One that might fit is John Tarpley who married Sarah Davis 1825 in Wilson Co. Tenn.
There is a Sarah Elizabeth Tarpley 1841, Tenn.
In the 1720, VA his ggggrandfather married a Ann Griffin. Let me know more about the Quaker connection.

I am sure someone will be more help then my self.
Brenda

Subject: [Q-R] Sarah Bundy

Looking for the parents of Sarah Jane Bundy. I believe her parents were Jehu Bundy born 1748 & Lydia Griffin.

I found Sarah Bundy in the Encyclopedia of American Quaker Genealogy by Henshaw, Volume One. She belonged to the BACK CREEK MM and was disowned for marrying out of the faith. 1808, 1, 30 Sarah Tapley (form Bundy) dis mou.

The Sarah I am looking for was born in NC and did marry Henry Tarpley/Tapley. In 1850 the couple was in Wilson County TN. In the 1850 census Sarah was age 67, making her born abt. 1783.

Would appreciate any information that anyone has to share.

Thanking you in advance,
Brenda
